EMC shareholders who receive MCDT will be sent instructions and a work sheet on how to recompute their cost basis of EMC and MCDT. If your cost basis of EMC is $50 right now, part of this will be allocated to MCDT.

The only way your cost basis of MCDT will be next to zero is if your cost basis of EMC right now is a few cents :)
