OT-Emulex hoax
But it is hard to imagine a 23-year-old knucklehead at a Jr. College in El Segundo playing with that much dough.
According to the Yahoo post that StockHawk brought to our attention (#30868) the guy's handle there is "daddies monie".

>> But, UF, considering the "risk/reward" aspect, 250K IS small potatoes here.

Not so. While we have some well heeled senior investors on this board, they represent a small portion of the tribe. The largest demographic groups are 30 to 45 year olds who are just entering their most productive investing years, and incredibly bright Gen Xers who have grasped the merit in ltb&h at an early age. From the private conversations I've had, the portfolio sizes range from low 5 figures up to 8 figures. I think $250K is well above the median portfolio size for this board.
