The conference to which you refer is an "invited only" conference at Lake Tahoe. It is called the Gilder/Forbes Telecosm Conference 2000. Simon Cao, founder and technical guru at Avanex is the featured speaker on September 14th. His speech is entitled INTO THE FIBRESPHERE. David Huber of Corvis Corp (formerly founder of Ciena) will also participate. I will be attending the conference. I will share my newly acquired wisdom with this thread once the conference ends. Meanwhile, good investing.
