Scott,

universe of SNP companies

This issue is certainly worth looking at, especially as they seem to be breeding like rabbits.

There are at least two angles here - the "pick and shovel" companies, and those trying to somehow make a buck by collating, analyzing or using SNP's in drug development or diagnostics.

Here's a quick list in no discernable order, courtesy 10K-Wizard (I might have missed a couple):

ORCH
SQNM
GNSC
GMNI
VGNX
ILMN
INCY
ACLA
PEB
LJLB
TWTI
NGEN
SGMO
NGEN
AFFX
GENE
LYNX
GNOM
STGN
GENXY
BDAL
RSTA
NENL
MDCC
EPPHZ
LMNX
DCGN
INMX
GLGC
CALP
GNMX

And of course there's the pharma-funded consortium in the mix as well.

For some of these SNP's are just a small part of what they do, but it's a place to start.

Peter

P.S. To keep on with the theme, Orchid is the one which is the MLNM partner on SNP scoring <g>
