Hi Mark, Thanks for the note. We've installed the language ok, and the characters show up fine, but the typing is still left-to-right. Still can't find a way around it. Oh well, thanks for the help though! Rich

fwiw part II i was in the process of downloading ie5.5 and got on the phone with tech support for this program i was about to install. reason i was upgrading to 5.5 is because the software user guide says the installer will 'update the following components if necessary", and it lists internet explorer. i always want to get a browser upgrade from the source (in this case, ms), not from an isp or other 'vendor', so i was rocking right along. anyway, i tell the tech guy i'm downloading ie5.5 and he says the software won't run on it, better stick with 5.0. <g3> screeeech!! cancel download! i didn't want ie5.5 anyway! :) mark
