Let's get serious here. Intel is NOT an easy nut to crack. AMD must displace Intel market share in order to sell all the Athlons it plans to make. They must displace Intel market share in the business sector, an even harder nut to crack. Clearly they have a plan...and these things take time. Intel continues to give AMD more time, amazingly.
If AMD is held to a fault, it's for lack of SMP and lack of infrastruture for Duron...at least they haven't had to recall chips...

It's pretty clear to me that this is the root problem. AMdD said that such limited upside in Q2. It will limit upside this Q, and it will limit upside in Q4. ASP's are the only wildcard...
