You're lucky to catch a steelhead. I spent 3 freezing days on the wilderness portion of Idaho's Snake River a few years ago, and only hooked up once. She gave me a magnificent fight, but when I brought her in close to the boat, the net man messed up and lost her.

I was kind of glad.
