Thank you very much to try to educate me.

You know, I have always been accused of discounting insider's views. I hate conference calls that was limited to immediate quarters or talking about revelations of the past. I like to think of the time that TCI forced ANTC to merge, because the technology they had was hopeless. TCI own their suppliers and had to keep them above water. ANTC lost money until the joint venture with Nortec.

So I don't worry about ATT but really TCI business and ANTC growth rate; it will be stagnation until another new business can be found for ANTC. The new business has to be last inch approach, last mile is pretty much done; and I have raised that issue in my previous posts. Nortec is slowly moving towards last inch by integrating levels of protocol of networking. It is really, trying to use wait states to communicate with slower devices. Networking with packet switching is too slow. Networking with code switching still does not have enough channels. Networking with real time bit stream switching was my proposal. We will see when Antec will pickup Nortec's technology or start their own cable channel switching using bit stream switching?

Incidentally, ANTC does not do any thing for ATT long distance. That is all done by Western Electric of Lucent. ATT local is all TCI and other cable that ATT picked up. Does ANTC do the other ATT cable operations other than the old TCI? Some small growth may still be there?
