Sting-ray - I don't want to speak for Rande, but I read his post on ADPT as a momentum daytrade - whereas his other post is much broader based.

I too have been either selling into strength, or setting some stops and raising them as the stock moves up - particularly on things that have run up a lot in August.

Still maintaining some longer term holds where I don't believe the price has moved significantly

Sting. . . the first post you linked was totally about ADPT. . .nothing more. . . ADPT is a value play. . . .the second post you linked was totally about ARTT. . .nothing more. . .ARTT is a beaten down tech stock.

In later posts I further illustrated how I was dealing with each type of play / trade.

Sorry for delay in responding.
