SR - you are right, I see many who are short term bearish - but looking at the recent run-up, we are due for a pullback IMO. However, just in case I and others am wrong, I haven't sold all my high flyers - istead setting some stops on them. I may give up a few small gains along the way, but protect myself for any big downside and still capture the majority of my gains. i guess I am about 1/3 on things sold, 1/3 on stops set and 1/3 on longer term holds that I don't think are at big risk for big pullbacks.
