The pretty fair example of the streaming technology from
ISLD/Sandpiper though , clean continuity of their cacheing
delivery...

Yep , just a fair effort at recreating the classics
and scattered effort at the improv...., but kind of flat and 2 dimensional and lacking
the 3~dimensional rolling thunders
of former days....

Hornsby is a sweet enough guy , but he
kind of dominates the tempo with a kind of forced
jazzed up Bourbon St style, and frantic scat~.playing
i can only listen to for so long...
...and someone is definelty missing
on the bass end....sounds like a
jamaican steel drum band at times...tho they
get it off the ground in a few places. ;-)

No more the sound of distant drums ...rolling thunders
thru the mind ... and alas no ,more the thrill of the intimate, vastnesses of space
of sacred "Sin~ergys" , LOL!

what heat they generate seems pretty canned , but
glad their havin fun tho, trippin thru their set lists ...

;-)
