Wayner... U.S.Inflation = dollar devaluation versus goods and services. Thus just hording cash is not the ticket, with the only worse strategy holding dollar denominated assets that are also being devalued. Another good hedge would be to look for a a country that is in the early stages or sweet spot of cyclical economic growth, and long that currency versus the dollar, and possibly even long their stock market if the risk/reward is right. Know of any countries that might fit the bill?
