Petz, X-box is UMA (i.e. shared graphics/processor memory). The NVidia solution was DDR from the start, and is essentially an integrated graphics controller/northbridge. I very much doubt it will be reengineered for Rambus.

In case you missed it, Nvidia has also announced interest in doing something similar to the x-box solution as a PC chipset northbridge, incorporating a dual channel DDR controller. Link available on request.

Somewhat related, Carl recently posted a note on the Rambus thread about a rumor of x-box being upped to 128meg memory, see Message 14300999 and xbox365.com
