Zoltan!!! Where have you been? Geez, we could of used you around here. We've been fending off numerous DNC parrots with success, but it's getting tiring. Hope you're tanned, rested, and ready.

Wow! I'm glad I searched the coffee shop threads! I was hoping to find a thread where perhaps I could work to persuade the undecided moderates that the moderate in this race is Bush, and that if they really want to continue the President Clinton / Republican Congress&Senate prosperity that we've enjoyed for the past 6 years, they had better vote for Bush.

Gore, in his acceptance speech, showed that he is ashamed of the economy the Clinton/Gore era has bequeathed us. This apparently "awful" economy has left us littered with evil industries taking advantage of the people -- industries like oil, pharmaceuticals, health care -- that is, companies where many of us are employed or whose stock we own either directly or via the mutual funds in our retirement plans.

Well, maybe Al Gore doesn't like the prosperity he helped give us, but most Americans and George Bush think it's a great prosperity -- only, in Bush's words, we haven't accomplished anywhere near what could have been accomplished given such prosperity.

The "wow" was because of the poll link. I've bookmarked that. It's great to see the "score" given 2200 people, not the usual 500-600 sample size, which leaves the error margin big enough so the media can interpret it in whatever way they choose. Thanks for sharing this link with us!
