<9/14: Win Me ships> Even before Microsoft ships a product, they manage to complicate my life. I ordered a new Dell computer on August 18. It was scheduled to ship by the 24th. Now, Dell tells me it will be delayed until September 11. My first thought was that Intel couldn't supply enough 933's, but I was mistaken. Apparently, Windows ME has compatibility problems with the Music Match software that comes with the Soundblaster Live. Once again, Microsoft writes their code so that it is incompatible with an existing competing product. No wonder they are in so much legal trouble. I'm glad I sold them last Fall!
