Thanks for the welcome Tom,

I bought into HTCH after they dropped post-secondary last year. I escaped with a small profit in July 1999, but missed buying back in the low teens. I just didn't think their business would recover too quickly, and indeed it now appears tenuous at best. I think they are a good leading indicator of the DD business, volumes at least, because the OEM pricing has just been insane. The DD manufacturers have a key role in the growth of technology, exponential storage growth, but haven't been able to benefit because they kill each other on pricing. VECO has been my only winner in that space, and they are moving away from DD exposure.

Hopefully their day will come.
