You can argue the differences all day and it would only prove that you do not understand the differences in dispensations in the Holy Word. For instance, God does not mean for us to follow any law today because the Mosaic laws have been done away with. The only requirement for a Christian today is to believe what Christ did for us at the cross. He became the supreme sacrifice for atonement and we must believe in this final act as a blood sacrifice for all believers so that God, through his Son, will see us as washed of sin and perfection in His eyes. You see, we must separate the spiritual from the physical because God is Spirit and must be worshipped in Spirit.

Actually, Santiago, I have a huge library, and much experience with these matters. It is not a lack of understanding of your position at all. I simply do not agree with it.

However, I am saddened that you would think that anything any of us say in support of our dialogues and discussions as it relates to our beliefs--would have anything to do with your freedom to make your own choice, both in faith and in other matters. I certainly, do not beg of you, that you drop your beliefs. You don't need to read this thread, and you don't need to hear my words, which clearly you are in disagreement with.

I am not responsible for your beliefs, and I am not responsible for your feelings. I appreciate the depth of your faith, and I appreciate the earnestness of your last post. However, I cannot allow you to set my standards for me. Your relationship with God is a personal one. Look after the souls of your family and yourfriends. My relationship with God is sacred to me. The fact that your proselytization of your beliefs is offensive to me, does not enjoin me to require you to give up those beliefs...as you are enjoining me to do. You spend much of your time discussing the heathen with your fellows in Christ. Normally, because I find those discussions offensive to me, I would not go to those places where you have those discussions. I do not ask you not to trample on my beliefs. You would not listen, nor would I have any right to ask it.

If you wish to discuss matters on this thread, fine. But nobody here is required to respect your ideas or your thinking. Respecting you as a person is another matter, and is not to be confused with agreement of your philosophy or theology. If your God is an abomination to us, we have every right to say so.

Here is something for you to read, or not to read, as you see fit:
