Doug,

I see. The $3,000 Advanced GET trading platform based on the Elliott wave theory is really based on the teachings of Doug R. I did not know that. I'll bet Tom Joseph (the creator of Advanced GET) would be surprised to hear that too. My findings from the Advanced GET platform did not happen until after the LA seminar, because I did not buy the program until after the seminar. Without going in to wordy detail on my trading technique, it is not dynamic support. I don't believe in the concept of support because like all technical indicators, they are only right 50% of the time. What I use now is something that I call "price revisitation levels," and they are based entirely on Elliott wave and Fibonacci time sequences. (Not covered or spoken about in any way during the LA seminar).

I would be more than happy to give you credit where credit is due. As I did when I posted to Ivan my offshoot of your "Dead Cat Bounce" pattern recognition theory. On 4/7/99 I posted my little finding along with a buy call on ORCL at 11 bucks per share. I not only gave the credit to you, but I clearly stated that my little discovery was an offshoot of one of your indicators, that I learned from you. My latest creation is entirely my own. Whether you believe that or not is another matter.

If you ever find a negative post from me, do not send it via a PM. Please make it a public post. Because if such a post exists, I would need to apologize publicly.

Cube

Doug, I think you got the wrong slant on Cube. I can vouch for Cube's excellent technical skills. In fact, I still use Cube(20) on my main templates.

I know you are not a backtesting fan but backtesting tells a technician the probability rate of success in the past. If it doesn't pass at a certain level, you are most likely gonna fight an upstream battle... probably...>g<

I don't know if I have enough $ to pay for his other proprietary system though...>g<

just because you read somebody else's book doesn't mean you can't come up with or have your own ideas...
