Petz, I just did the same, made a couple of Durons with Asus a7v mobos this weekend. One at 700 and one at 900, both overclocked and memory at 133.
the older memory may be a problem. If you exceed the runnable spec it will go into this two tone sound scheme. You must then remove the battery and short the Cmos retention capacitor, then put the battery back in and it will start up at 600 Mhz and 100 memory.
Interesting site getoverclocked.com

That is the Duron overclock support site....unless you have a mobo with no choices.

Click on the Henry button and he will answer questions.

I find it a fast and stable system. needed a good fan with a copper spreader. Does not get very hot at all. I used the conducting silver paste as thermal grease...just enough for the die footprint...and not enough to short the topside parts.
I have 20 pounds of the silver paste(yes at $450 per pound $9000 worth) left over from a shielded production facility I was involved in building in 1988.
Trying to figure out where to market it. A thin market indeed, what with the collapse of the USSR. Untimately I will sell it for silver, about 96% silver by weight and 4% a gummy never drying binder. the silver itself is 99.999% pure.

As for the merits of copper, if Al is good enough it is both lighter and cheaper than copper. A 2 pound lump stuck to the socket most have quite a moment at certain point on the UPS route and might just pluck the chip from the socket.

Work goes on on active cooling with the huge compressors being replaced with resonant vibrating compressors that resemble the air pumps for aquariums now being tested
These compressors are made for the RV industry and are a lot smaller than the rotary ones used in the cooled systems we have all seen that are 1/8 th horsepower and lead to a huge box. These new ones use 20 watts and can transfer 60 watts from 60 C to 35 C in typical heat pump fashion. Whole package weighs about 3 pounds, uses 1 ounce of freon.

Last week a lurker sent me this file about worker education. It show that lower grades in the USA are quite bad compared to many other areas.
nces.ed.gov
However it stops at grade 8. many workers in Europe exit the school system and enter apprenticeship programs around ag 14 and are no longer in the higher education stream.
This means they get a good tech education at work, but have little liberal education after 14.
