Now we're starting to see more and more articles decrying that "cheap energy may never return." Same reporters and editors who two years were dredging up equally convincing facts for their stories then as to why "cheap energy is here to stay."

I thought the USGS was supposed to be upbeat and complacent. One wonders if the author of that document fits in well. Pretty stark, in its colorful way.
