The picture that I get from GMST is that of a lone genius. The very few lone geniuses I have been privileged to meet were all terrible at PR. I suppose it comes with the territory, eh? I am long GMST, holding it tightly, but I certainly wouldn't own this or anything else as my only stock. By the way, recently people write to the effect that Buffett's way of investing includes the point that one must be able to rest easy if all your money were in the single stock that you are about to buy. Actually Buffett never said that. What he said is that all you need is 2-3 great companies and then hold on to them forever. 2-3 is not one. Actually last time I noticed his portfolio has quite a bit more than 2-3 companies. Life, business, especially technology is not so predictable. We must, must, must diversify.
