Tuesday September 12, 6:04 am Eastern Time EU clears Telia/Oracle Internet joint venture BRUSSELS, Sept 12 (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Tuesday it had cleared plans by Swedish telecoms company Telia AB and U.S. software firm Oracle Corp (NasdaqNM:ORCL - news) to set up a joint venture called Drutt Corp to set up a portal web site aimed at mobile phone users. ``The Commission gave its green light to the transaction as it will raise no competition concerns in the Internet-related markets in Europe where, of the two parent companies, only Telia is currently present,'' the Commission said in a statement.
