The Firsthand managers have told me that they have read TRFM. This is their G&K fund. I wish they would stick to TRFM a little more closely, but they through in some non-GG companies just because they are the leader in a certain space. I mainly suggest it to family and friends who don't have, or won't take, the time to do what we do on this thread. At least you know the managers have a "Leaders" (GG)perspective. Some tech funds shift their focus from sector to sector and you never know what you might hold.

Re: Nice Little G/K-ish Fund

I selected Red Oak Technology Select Fund for my wife's Roth IRA. Besides the G/K-ish basket it offers, it's also nice to have every penny invested. Since there is an annual limit for IRA contribution, buying stocks in IRA account often leaves one with some cash balance, which in most cases doesn't even earn interests.
