i submitted your inquiry to the symantec service and support message boards.

servicenews.symantec.com;

they usually provide next business day responses, however, with the labor day holiday, that means tuesday sometime.

we'll see what they say. wouldn't you love it if they submitted a top 10 list of reasons you should not want to do that? <g3>

i'm pleased to say that they have already responded, despite the long holiday weekend. here is a copy of the email i received:

looks like they give you two options, appro. both involve registry edits. one allows you to put the selection back if you change your mind.
