Allen,

Good to hear your keyboard again.
(Was not among those who thought you'd bailed, sailed,
or were up to anything nefarious.)
I do hope hope that events, your schedule, or whatever,
will allow you to resume posting your thoughts and
ruminations re: Wind River Systems.

Thanks for the thread and what you've brought to it.

Adio,

Lee

Allen,

It is nice to see you posting again. I listened to the CC and so glad to hear your voice and question. Your integrity and honesty always well respected as reflected in numerous of your posts during the past few years. However we often encountered jerk specially on the Internet.

Could you please comment about I2O situation? I hope by now we should hear more about it?

Anthony

Good to hear from you again, Allen.

You and Kevin Landis are my heroes.

Long on WIND since around 1994, before you started this post. It felt a bit lonely until you began to fill in the spaces. I decided to hold on no matter what. Stayed true to my plan, through the stomach jolting drop after the H&Q comments, now very glad to see the world beginning to take notice.

Very nice to have you back Allen. As a Wind owner and a definite non techie I depend on people such as yourself, John Huber, DownSouth(NTAP) and others to help me make decisions. For those of us who have non technical time consuming jobs the insight you bring to the companies we invest in are invaluable. Ideally I would do all my DD myself and make most of my decisions based on my own research, but I find that impossible. I think you would be surprised how many lurk on these boards and use the information and opinions to help make decisions.
Can't really repay you except to say thanks again! By the way there is a nice discussion over on the G&K thread about Wind in Gorilla terms.

Regards, Trip

Hi Allen,

There has been some interesting speculation about why I stopped posting after summarizing WIND’s Analyst Day in June. Recently the speculation has become downright Machiavellian with at least one suggestion that I was spoon fed the Sony question on the CC.

I think that most of us who have listened to you for years have zero doubt in your knowledge, vision, and integrity. The only doubt I have ever had was that a year ago, I asked Ramsey if Allen Benn was actually Jerry Fiddler. After hearing you and Fiddler in the same conversation, my only doubt evaporated. [Actually, I still see Linux as a force that will change WRS' strategy.]

That was a good CC. Though the numbers are still less than ideal, the lilies are showing up in the TMS pond and the "smart client" pond.

Thank you so much,

Khan
