This board is just dripping with nostalgia!

How about the times I remember when there was no TV at all? The radio did just as well in many ways. How about:

The Lone Ranger? (on Silver with Tonto on Scout. "Hi yo Silver, Getum up Scout. Here comes Tonto with his shirt tail out!")
Jack Armstrong, the all-American boy?
Jack Benny?
Fred Allen?
Bob Hope?
I Love a Mystery? (with Jack, Doc and Reggie)

When I was in high school my first real job was selling shoes at Shelby's Shoe Store in Bremerton, Washington. We had a foot fluoroscope there that I used on many of my customers, adults as well as kids, and on myself, of course. Quite a bit later I was a health physicist for Dow Chemical for a couple of years and finally knew better! (Actually, those fluoroscopes had been outlawed for years by then.)
