Ron,

When did you call investor relations? Friday 9/1? If so, I think they missed their opportunity in the low to mid 20's.

Frankly, I find that surprising, and somewhat suspect. It was all a well marketed and timely PR release then. Maybe they really have no intension of buying any, because it probably won't get back there.

JMHO.

Steve

I am skeptical about your purported conversation with IR.

IR told you they haven't bought yet? I would like more details of whom you spoke with and when. I do not believe that IR of a major company like KEM would release that information. If you say that they will buy only as a safety net when the stock hits 25, and someone told you that, I would respectfully like to know your source.

In response to the e-mail request that I post my reply:

1.Of course I know who I spoke to at Kemet, but I'll make up stories about alien abduction before I post a company officer's name on a message board. If I have a helpful information source, I won't close it off by subjecting the guy to potential public comment and/or phone calls from, possibly, odd people. And I don't respond to name callers. I just remember what Eric Hoffer wrote in The True Believer: "Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength."

2. Even though KEM happens to be my choice over VSH and AVX, I'd guess that except for short-term fluctuations they'll move together with none of the three breaking away.

3. A price forecast for KEM? I have no better idea than any of the various guessers. And whenever I pluck some number from my imagination I'm usually wrong, although I believe that KEM will generally rise with the SOX index or if perceptions of growth in use of electronic devices becomes more bullish.

4. OT - You're right. I did sell some of my PPDI to buy more KEM, but not because I disfavor Pharma. Prod. Just wanted more KEM.
