I'm less sure that QCOM can win it world wide where Nokia and NTT DoCoMo have in effect announced that they will produce CDMA without paying QCOM anything for the patents. WCDMA is simply that, an announcement of intended theft.

MB, Korea, JAPAN and EUROPE have all recently up held Q's patents against claims from our two friends above Hansel & Gretel. They may try another round of legal shinanigans but I doubt they will fare any better. Also I have not read anything where they publicly stated they would not pay Q for their patents. They may have stated that they can produce a product without the use of Q's patents, that's a big difference and something I also doubt very much they can do.
