Your "Worst Ads" list is nearly identical to mine. The first time I saw the couple picking up the stray mangey dog and putting it in the back seat of their $45,000 Range Rover, I said to myself "yeah right." The kid who keeps saying, "me llama es Pedro," uhh...what is the Spanish word for "Spaz child"? And you are 100% correct about the sappy ad about the teacher's live-in boyfriend showing up at OfficeDepot buying school supplies...I instantly reached for my barf bag.

If that's not bad enough, while watching college football this weekend, I saw them airing the old E-trade commercials where the old bag SugarMama is telling "Johnny" to rub her bunions...I was eating lunch when it came on, and let me tell you, it was not pretty. Only a matter of time before that commercial starts showing up on CNBC again.

My current favorite is the Holiday Inn series of ads with the 37-year-old living at home with his parents ("what does this look like, a HOLIDAY INN?!!"). The one where he tells Mom and Dad he quit his job at the supermarket to start up an internet company was timely and priceless.

The Avis ones are pretty funny too (nurse says to patient "no allergies, right?" Patient: "well, uhh, actually I'm allergic to penicillin." Nurse: "ooh, that would've been ugly..." Announcer: "ever get the feeling people just stopped trying?").

They also oughta bring back those mutual fund commercials (can't remember which co.) where the people blew all their money trading stocks...one of them had the husband telling the wife she ought to start mowing lawns, another one had parents renting out their kid's room to the bendo named "Frogger." Those were funny.

One ad that REALLY bugs me is the one about the little girl whose father is going on a business trip, and leaving her behind

There's all that sappy music.."No matter where you go, I will follow you."

There is never another adult around...the girl runs around looking at who knows what, but there is an airplane and a car. What is this a remake of an old Charley Brown movie?

Finally after hitting five continents, he remembers to call the little girl, and she's happy to hear from him?

Have you seen the new FexEx commercial... talk about funny, it's got that bloke from Australia who's always on discovery channel playing with snakes and alligators and he's handling "the most deadly snake in the outback".... "she's a bute, mate, but don't get bit"... then he gets bit and dies because the anti-venom was not sent overnight via FedEx... a classic.

Now if Vita Nelson can get bit by that deadly snake, my day would be complete.
