This loan business does look bad to me, but I hasten to add it is not specific to Lucent, if the article is correct.
Maybe looking at a long term chart of IBM and focusing on 1993 will be a consolation to you. It took a new CEO and several years for IBM stock to come back, but come back it did.

I'm not invested in LU yet, just window shopping.

Hi Anon,

Nothing much I can add for you, I'm just sniffing around blown up tech stocks like LU,QCOM,WCOM and others because I like to trade them after they have blown up. I do remember accounting issues being brought up by Chuzzlewit some time ago on this thread, he is a pretty sharp cookie who has turned out to be correct pretty often.
