"It's not nice to keep secrets. <gg> Just with defrag?" yes. it took me by surprise, i must say (to quote marvin gaye). i have been adding more than my usual share of stuff lately. i just added DLL Master, and have sent a couple emails to the author (to which i've received replies!!). sometimes new software is beneficial and makes the os run sweeter, as opposed to the bugs and glitches we all tend to focus on so much. re zonealarm... i like the capability to leave my puter on but lockdown the internet. having a cable modem (always on status), this is particularly neat. i'm still in the learning/fascination mode, so the flurry of alarm messages are fine by me. :) mark
