Michael, thanx.
What's your take on market's movement in next 4-6 months?

As I understand everyone, including bears (scary), expect markets to go up because of elections. I think that elections is a non-event. Like Y2K was. It's an event that has already been factored into stock prices. In 1999 many expected the markets to drop because of Y2K. It didn't happen. On the contrary markets went up a lot. I think that there are many symptoms that markets won't meet people's expectations this year as well. Slowing economy, higher rates, oil at $33. Technical - VIX. Big uncertainty about what the new president, whoever he is, will do to clean the playground.

Mike:

Regarding UCL I understand the Supreme Court should decide this week or next at the latest on whether to hear the Exxon/Mobil appeal.

I can be wrong on this (the timing) but the court usually announces what cases they will hear and if they don't hear the case the appeals ruling stands.

We should hear about Mr. Softie too. I'm thinking by the end of the week for both.
