Forget the religious part, the 10 Commandments should be the foundation of any persons life. If we all followed them we would have that ideal society. Love your neighbor would mean charity, consideration and respect, etc.. I don't see how any reasonable person could be against the 10 Commandments unless they are a non believer. If they are a non believer then "You shall have no other gods before Me" would not apply. But, even then, all the others would apply to any moral and quality life without considering the religious base.
