Hello Bernard, "They should concentrate on the free space optics equipment angle of the business rather than on the last Mile service provider angle." Agreed, wrt to sprawl and rural. They're far better off sticking to high density areas and business applications. However, I believe that if they have a market with business in such dense geographical conditions, then they may [should] also take a stab as a LM contender in MDU situations and row house residentials in tightly packed areas. That would also be contingent on their having a close-enough and high-enough launch point. Not sure what the optial service mix or bit rates should be, given the need to support the back end capacity (return path) toward the core within the pricing structures of residential pricing. But it's interesting to contemplate. FAC
