In Intel's favor, we have to consider that we have absolutely no idea about what;s going on in Intel test labs. Just because there is no production facility and parts in production, it doesn't mean that Intel is behind

I hear from reliable sources that Intel is developing a "clean room" version of Athlon, and will soon be shipping as a second source under the cover of their AMD cross-license.

If my recall of the last time the Intel's employees has been shout down from SI boards, things was going very bad at Intel.
