Michael, Thanks for the reply. The brokerage house uses Pershing for their clearing house, and yes, the proceeds are put in the MM acct. The monthly statement is incredibly obtuse, took it to the CPA I use and he was even baffled. Next, I have to inquire why some of my Put purchases were charged to my margin acct., as I never buy on margin (and also never short puts). Thanks for your help and contributing to the thread. Bill/WA
