CrazyMan,

Re: Athlon 2

I don't know how credible the information is. .13u seems a little too early. Also, there appears to be only a limited support for 133/266 MHz bus only in Mustang. The 166 MHz support for Palomino will come much later IMO.

STOP PRESS!

Well, ok it's a Sunday, I think that we all needed that title :)

Anyway, here is the interesting titbit that I "stopped Presses" for :)

"BTW, it is confirmed: DDR SDRAM in combination with the 200 MHz EV6 bus of the Athlon rocks ;).

crazyoldman,
re: Athlon 2?
Not 100 per cent sure, but I think this is the site Chris Tom of AMD Zone wrote about:

Site Smackdown
Reported by: Chris Tom At: 12:23 PM

Some new CPU site with two different names is sending out completely faked specifications for an upcoming AMD processor. This site is so full of it that they are calling it by the old code name, and they have even mispelled that. I just want to warn you guys if you see other sites post about this, it is wrong, horribly horribly wrong.

Good night (it's 11:48 PM here in Austria, in case you're wondering),
