JW check out the IDEAL Fiber Optics (Mutual) Fund at www.i-am-funds.com Top 12 holdings: mrvc, scmr, cien, sdli, onis, jnpr, newp, glw, ala, bkhm & digl. I am somewhat attracted to this fund...(lauched 6-2-00 with a 24.1% return thru 8-31)...as I hold 9 of the above 12 stocks. It took me dozens of hours to narrow in on these stocks. interesting to think i could simply have bot this mut fd. guessing that they hold many of the small - mid caps your posts refer to. WOULD BE INTERESTED IN YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS FUND. tks...catcher of buckeye/outer banks fame

JW - INSP - great chart! I agree with your TA on INSP. I bought some last week. Look at the link to the chart below. It crossed the 50 day MA with big volume and could go from 40 to 50 quickly as there is little resistance on the drop from 50 to 40. This stock could run to 50 first, then 75. Its 52 week high was 138.50. It droped due to its acquisition of G02NET (which owns Silicon Investor). However this acquisition was misunderstood by the street and as I understand it will be accretive. I believe that INSP has some kind of conference on 9/12. It is also on some sort of road show to tell its story. The wireless sector is out of favor, but coming back. Also check out the chart on WFII, a recent Gilder pick for the wireless sector. The chart on BVSN also looks good, they jumped up last week and there is going to be some major anouncment Tuesday morning about a deal in the wireless world. They also broke the 50 day on big volume.
