one of the mkt letters summarized in barrons this weekend alluded to the low character of those involved in the internet mania.

it got me thinking, if things got really ugly, what would be the first stock to go in a portfolio, a long term hold of something like general electric or berkshire hath. purchased at a small fraction of today's mkt price or last week's purchase of yoo-hoo ?
