Anand already has a Willy chip under NDA. Given that round November AMD will bring out a 1.4 Ghz Mustang with DDR, Intel has to get the chip out the door quickly to prevent a PR disaster. ("AMD's new chip faster than P4!") Given that Duron 750 is out about now, you probably are right. But the longer Intel delays Willy's debut, the more likely that AMD will crash the wedding and carry off the bride.
