Hey Jorj,

I gotta tell you, I'm really looking forward to seeing Hamed - who I generally like, though certainly don't adore, as some (not on this thread) seem to - work for his bread. Yes, I think he can beat Morales, but I think it will be a great fight.

And, yes, I think that Morales/Kelly was stopped soon; they should have come out for one more round.

Diego Corrales is terrific; when I see him, I think of the weird power that a lot of basketball players have, as they're lanky but damn can they bring it when the heat is on.

A side note, that may already have been mentioned: Clifford "The Black Rhino" Etienne, future heavyweight champion of the world fights Saturday, Sept 9th on KO nation. This is a guy who, with a few more fights under his belt, can and will put away Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, Tua, the Klitsckos, Golota, Maskaev, Rahman, and maybe...just maybe...Chris "How'd I get here?" Byrd.

"I do like Manfredy, but he was seriously outclassed by Corrales"

perhaps i am making too fine of a distinction, jorj, but imo, angel manfreddy was not outclassed so much as he was outgunned.

and once manfreddy tasted corrales' power, a very obvious mental switch had been flipped. while manfreddy's boxing sense told him to continue with the fight, his survival sense told him that he was going to lose.

when viewed in this light, the fight was over when manfreddy landed on his ass the first time. it looked like a fly in a fight with a rhino.
