Snowshoe thanks for the reply. Since I am not familiar with the intricacies of the way this business works could you please help me understand which of the first 3 or product volume related.

I would suppose that development tools are essentially a seat license that grows with the number of developers so there is somewhat of a volume factor. Services would also have a similar relationship that is tied to the number of developers actually using the software.

I am not familiar with the term run time licenses. Is that related to a % of sales or a royalty payment?

depending on the relative mix, it would appear to me that WIND could easily be very successful at expanding their penetration into the market but fall short of generating tornadic activity simply because seats and services are not necessarily porportional to the adoption of the product.
