Larry, view it as you must, but this is merely a passing comment by DW. There are many ways he could think he "knows" something, most of them legal, but you seem to immediately assume he was basing the statement on illegal inside information from Valence management. C'mon, it's not like he said, "The Valence CEO told me there is a new Motorola contract. Buy Valence now!" Sheesh. In this type of situation, the underlying basis for the statement is most important, not the statement itself. DW made this statement, or at least it was transcribed onto some web site, back in February 1999. If you think it is of vital importance to investigate the reasons behind the statement, going on 2 years later, that is your prerogative. But aren't there more current DW interviews and predictions to discuss now? Which brings me to the closing point: Since you seem to be so focused on DW, maybe you should start a new thread to track the accuracy of DW's predictions. Wait...maybe a forum already exists to satiate your needs...
