Oh, I don't mind his in-ring style, it is the arrogance and prancing outside of the ring.

I'd love to see tapia in the ring with Hamed....but I heard that he actually did turn down fight.

I think that Morales' willingness to be hit with good shots can be somewhat suicidal when in the ring with Hamed.

LPS5,

hamed's vulnerability was revealed in the elvis impersonator fight (i can't remember the darn fighter's name). but he dumped hamed, and hit him some very good shots. a disciplined guy with power could really have success against hamed. the discipline alone will not suffice, as the power alone will not suffice. but in tandem, hamed can be had.

because, imo, hamed has no discipline.

he's 80% power and 90% egomaniac.

that adds up, right?

:)

"If I had to choose right now, TAP would be the one to plaster Hamed, if anyone"

i couldn't think of a better fighter to prevail over the prince than johnny tapia. by better i mean one who i personally enjoy watching and one who i feel is more deserving and worthy of a victory. johnny tapia is a wonderful blend of workman-like tools and unchecked emotion. a hell of a combo, right there.

but in my personal theory that says it will take discipline and power in tandem to kick the prince's royal butt, i must say that i don't think tapia has the power. he can't whack hard enough to get the prince's respect. tapia's victories are always of the accumulation variety. which means hamed will have to be worn down. not impossible, but before that happens, hamed may land one of those ramma ramma ding-dongs on johnny's noggin, and it'll be cold frog time in albuquerque.
