I bought a new cell phone last night because my old one was stolen. When I activated my new phone, I got a call from Debbie's mother. When I answered, the mom asked if this was Debbie J's phone number. I calmly explained that it was my number, that my caller ID had identified her, and that I was writing Debbie J's name down as the person who would have my missing phone. Mom and daughter delivered my cell phone in ten minutes with a payment for one month's service and the story of how they'd received my phone as a gift. I returned the new phone, which had a 14 day return policy.
