Gordon - Re: Intel Pocket PC Camera

I also ordered one a couple days ago - it took a while to find an online vendor with one in stock! (The Intel online store still said 1-2 weeks.) It will be my first digital camera but it looked liked an excellent starter so I can see if I am interested in a more full-featured model after Christmas.

Gordon,

Thanks for you update on the Intel Pocket Camera. Sounds like a great starter product for those that may want to upgrade to better digital cameras. Also with the digital video and webcasting, it has some added value.

I don't know your expectations on photography, but keep an eye on digital. They are getting better and better, and the cameras are allowing you to shoot in very low light situations. Some of the professionals have even switched over to digital. Over half the cameras sold this year will be digital, my guess is 75% next year.

Thanks, sounds like a winner for Intel.
