Actually, it is good for the future. The Gov't isn't responsible for paying benefits and pensions to the employees as that falls on the private contractor who has hired them. The bureaucratic Civilian Personnel Regulations that protect inefficient government employees no longer applies and bums can be let go. Unfortunately, the way the government runs, they offered early retirements, with $25k bonuses to entice people to leave government service, and who leaves but the people who were already retirement eligible. The people with much of the knowledge. Who's left, the logs who can't get a job anywhere else.knc
