"AGA Gas Storage Report"
Oil Daily (10/12/00) P. 7

The American Gas Association said that 62 billion cubic feet of natural gas
was injected into U.S. storage during the week ending October 6, bringing
the total gas stores in the U.S. to 2,542 billion CF, or 77 percent total
capacity. Stored gas is down compared to last year's level of 2,936 billion
CF. The futures prices for natural gas took off on the news because the
reported rate of daily injection, 8.9 billion CF, is insufficient to reach
the critical 2,800 billion CF level before the beginning of winter.
