He doesn't have "another 6 months or so." Why can't you figure it out? They are in default on the rig payments. They will be in default (again) on their spud date. If they don't get an extension they don't have a deal at all. They have no money and no real way to get it. And, try to understand this part, they DON'T CONTROL THE DRILL SITE! They can't start a well even if they had the rig on the site. Read their SEC filings, genius. Or, given your intellectual postings, have someone read them to you. The ship is sinking and you're praising the band for continuing to play. Talk about a sucker....

Checked the insider filings lately?
Hayseed filed to sell shares again.
Half million of 'em this time.
If drilling is about to start, this is some pretty bad timing.
If it's headed back below a buck, it's pretty good timing.
