You are so clueless...........do you know how many indigents and street people my hospital treats for free?.....hospitals don't make a ton of money, in fact every teaching hospital affiliated with a medical school has lost money for the last 5 years...........who's going to pay for medical education today?.........not the HMO's and it's the govt that pays resident and fellow salaries through Medicare. Don't talk to me about quality of care until you get sick and your HMO sends you to a yokel doctor to treat your serious illness....You should be thankful that we have excellent specialists to treat disease.....we just need to make sure EVERYONE has access to it!
